Using ScheduleOnce without a connected calendar

You can use ScheduleOnce without a connected Calendar and still accept bookings from Customers. Not connecting a calendar can make your Booking page(s) run faster, as it won't need to retrieve busy time from your calendar. When working without a connected calendar, you should take the following points into account:

  • Busy time retrieval is Booking page specific: When a customer makes a booking on your Booking page, it blocks availability for that Booking page only.
  • The calendar event is sent in the ScheduleOnce confirmation email: When a booking is made, the calendar event is sent in the ScheduleOnce confirmation email and can be added to the calendar manually.
