Meeting mode

Last Updated: Feb 20, 2012 11:05PM EET
Meeting mode is the first setting in the General section of your MeetMe page. In Meeting mode you specify how many times you want people to select and you will be notified each time someone submits a meeting request via your MeetMe page. You will then be able to pick a final time and schedule the meeting.
Meeting mode setting
Meeting mode is available in all plans including the Starter (free) plan and is different from Appointment mode where scheduling happens automatically upon the invitee’s submission. There is no need to connect your calendar when working in meeting mode.

If you want to prevent double booking in Meeting mode make sure to connect your calendar and make sure that in the availability section of your Inbound settings the "Busy time blocks my availability" box is checked.

Please note that when an invitee selects a few times on your MeetMe page these times will not be blocked out since they have not been scheduled. Only when you schedule the time in Meeting mode will it become busy time on your calendar and block out your availability.

Meeting mode gives you the control over the time that’s selected. It is good to use Meeting mode when the invitations that you receive can be for different types of meetings and for different purposes. It is also good to use Meeting mode when your availability is not 100% accurate or when you want to prioritize the scheduling of different meetings.

When you select Meeting mode you can set the minimum number of times that people who schedule time with you will select. The more times you ask people to select, the more flexibility you will have when you pick the final time.
