Creating a Personalized link for a specific Customer

You can build a static Personalized link that includes an individual’s personal details. They are based on URL parameters and are best used when sending a single email to a particular Lead or Customer. These links are different from dynamic links that should be used when you want to send Personalized links to a large group of leads or customers as part of an email campaign.

Consider a scenario whereby a sales representative wishes to send an email to a specific lead called John. In the body of the email, they want to include a personalized "Book time with me" link. This link will take John straight to choosing a date and time for the meeting, without needing to enter any personal information such as name and email. The sales representative will create a link that will look something like this:

https://secure.scheduleonce.com/dana?name=John&email=john@example.com&skip=1

Note: When using Personalized links with Booking pages that don't have Event types, it is highly recommended you provide the Subject field of your Booking form. You do this by selecting the " Meeting subject is set by the owner" option in Setup -> Relevant Booking page -> Booking form -> Meeting subject and enter the desired Meeting subject specific to your business case. Learn more about the Subject field

Creating a Personalized link specific to a Customer

  1. Go to Setup and click the relevant Booking page or Master page.
  2. In the Overview section, click the Personalize for a specific Customer link. (Figure 1)
  3. Enter the Customer name and Customer email
  4. Copy the link and paste into your email.

By default, after entering your Customer's details, your Booking form will be skipped (i.e. the Skip booking form switch will be turned on), allowing for a seamless and quick booking process for your Customers. You can, however, choose to disable skipping by turning the Skip booking form switch off. When you're ready, click the Copy button, which will copy this link to your clipboard, and paste it in your email.
