If you are using ScheduleOnce for inbound scheduling only, you can disable the Google Calendar invite that is sent to your users and use any Google Calendar as the bridge between your desktop calendar and ScheduleOnce. However, If you are also using outbound scheduling (the Google invite email cannot be disabled in outbound) it is recommended to create a dedicated Google Calendar account using you desktop's calendar email address.
Creating a Google Calendar account that uses the same email as your desktop calendar's email address:
- Go to https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount and create a Google Account on your desktop calendar's email address.
- Go to https://www.google.com/calendar and configure the new calendar. Make sure that your desktop calendar's email address is showing on the right corner of the Google header. DO NOT create a Gmail account, calendar only.
- Sign into ScheduleOnce and then connect the new Google Calendar with ScheduleOnce.
- Connect this calendar to Outlook, iCal or any other calendar.
When a meeting is scheduled in ScheduleOnce, if the Google invite email is not disabled, the Google Calendar invitation email generated by this Google Calendar will be from your desktop calendar's email address.
