ScheduleOnce has one of the deepest and broadest integrations with Google Calendar. We have been working with Google since 2009 and were one of the official launch partners in the Google Apps Marketplace. See the full details of our Google Calendar integration.
Here is a list of the most common questions:
Where in the app can I connect to Google Calendar?
You can connect from the bottom of your Account page, from the availability section in your Inbound Settings page or from the New invitation page when creating an outbound invitation. It doesn't matter where you connect and you only have to do this once.
Can I connect to a Google Calendar under a Google ID which is not the ID that I used to sign in?
Sure you can. You can connect to any Google Calendar, regardless of the Google ID that you are using to sign into ScheduleOnce.
How does ScheduleOnce connect with Google Calendar?
ScheduleOnce communicates with the Google Calendar API using a token that is generated by Google and therefore your Google login information is never known to ScheduleOnce. Once a connection is established ScheduleOnce reads or writes to Google Calendar in real time and no data from Google Calendar is ever saved on our servers.
Can I connect to my Google Apps Calendar?
Sure you can. There is no difference between connecting to a Google Apps Calendar and connecting to a Gmail based Google Calendar.
Is any information from my calendar saved on the ScheduleOnce servers?
Your Google Calendar data is read by ScheduleOnce in real time via the Google Calendar API and hence your calendar data is never saved on the ScheduleOnce servers. ScheduleOnce communicates with the Google Calendar API using a token that is generated by Google and therefore your Google login information is never known to ScheduleOnce.
I cannot see my Scheduled meeting in Google Calendar
In Google Calendar - Make sure that the calendar in which your meeting was scheduled is selected. Find it in the calendar list in the left bar and click it to select it.
Why do my busy times appear in wrong hours on ScheduleOnce?
This is due to time zone differences between your Google Calendar and ScheduleOnce. To change the time zone:
• On ScheduleOnce: Go to your Account setting in your Account page, select the new time zone and save.
• On Google Calendar: Click on Settings -> Calendar settings at the top of the Google Calendar page, select the new time zone and save. Reload\refresh the ScheduleOnce page to reflect the change. Important: Google Calendar has a General time zone and a time zone for each calendar. If you change the time zone on a specific calendar it may be different than the general time zone. If you have a time zone discrepancy with ScheduleOnce make sure to specifically check the time zone of the calendar that you are connecting to by going into the settings of that specific calendar.
I’m already connected with one Google account, how do I switch to another?
The simplest way to switch between accounts is to disconnect your calendar on the Account page, logout of your Google account, log back in with the new Google account and reconnect it with ScheduleOnce. Note that you can switch your calendar connection accounts without having to switch your login account.
I cannot connect - what should I do?
This may be due to temporary communication problems with the Google Calendar API. Please try the following
1. Make sure cookies are enabled on your browser
2. Verify that you can login to your Google or Google Apps account
3. Try to connect again from ScheduleOnce
