If you are an administrative assistant and need to schedule meetings for others, outbound scheduling can make your life much easier.
If your calendar is connected, make sure that you have read and write permissions to the calendars of the people that you are scheduling for.
When you create a new invitation, simply select the person’s calendar from the calendar list and propose times accordingly. Send the link to invitees.
When invitees reply you click Schedule and see the list of invitees with the meeting organizer's availability in the top row. The Meeting organizer row reflects the availability of the person you are scheduling for.
When you click the schedule button you will see the list of calendars and will be able to select the calendar of the person that you are scheduling for. The meeting will be scheduled in that calendar and you don’t need to take any further action.
The same process can be repeated if your calendar is not connected, only that in this case the Google Calendar invite will not be created automatically and you will need to email the selected time to all invitees manually.
