I use Google Calendar appointment slots for scheduling appointments with my staff. They can book time when they need it directly in our Google Apps.
For customers, though, I don't want them to be forced to use a Google account. I want to give them specific appointment times for meetings via SO. All of my SO availability is set as date specific.
Since the appointment slots don't let me mark them as busy until someone books a slot in GApps, the time slots show as a time I can set for availability for customers in SO.
I realize this is because the slots don't show as Busy on the Google calendar but is there any way for you to see there are appointment slots and treat them as busy. Or better yet, sync with them and allow them to be part of scheduling in SO?
Hi Donna,
It is currently not exposed through API: http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2615
But may I ask why you want unbooked slots to be busy? Shouldn't they become busy only when they get booked?
You can also solve this issue completely by using ScheduleOnce for both customers and internally.
Regards,
Ron
